Walnut Creek Transmission, Inc. is proud to be a five-year certified member of the Bay Area Green Business Program. As a green business, we strive to conserve energy and water, recycle and reduce our waste, and take measures to avoid pollution.
In order to do this, we must comply with strict environmental and conservation standards. To maintain certification, our facility and procedures are regularly inspected by a team from PG&E, Contra Costa Water District, Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority, and other agencies protecting storm water, wastewater, air, and soil. These rigorous inspections span two months every two years.
